We provide transportation assistance so that people can participate in communal, social, economic, and everyday life activities.
Transportation is an essential component of daily living. It may be necessary for you to get to your job, school, medical appointments, do daily errands, and generally access the community. We provide transportation assistance so that people can participate in communal, social, economic, and everyday life activities.
Our goal is to not only get you from point A to point B, but also to become a part of your adventure. Our support professionals can help our participants travel independently by teaching and guiding them on how to efficiently use public transportation to make their journey simple and comfortable.
We can provide secure and comfortable transportation in one of our disability cars with a well-trained licensed driver, or one of our well-trained support workers can accompany you on trains, buses, and other modes of transit to help you travel to:
- Showering and putting on clothes
- Menu planning, grocery shopping, and preparation
- Personal banking in general (budget planning)
- Controlling written communication
- Organizing and attending doctor's appointments
- Medication Administration
- Coordination of additional resources, such as cleaning
